JotAgent updated with Evernote support

JotAgent, a simple and highly efficient note taking app that syncs with Dropbox, has just received a 2.0 update and added several new features that includes an interface redesign and more importantly, support for Evernote. For those who wish to quickly jot down notes and ideas, users can begin typing into JotAgent as soon as the app’s opened and a tap on the save button will now instantly sync them with Dropbox and/or Evernote. The update has also added an optional offline queue mode, where notes are saved until the iDevice connects to the internet once again. If simplicity, speed and Dropbox/Evernote syncing are required for your note taking needs, the universal JotAgent app works as advertised and is very affordable at only $0.99.

IMDb releases trivia app for iPhone and iPod Touch

Anyone who’s ever searched a movie online will undoubtedly have stumbled upon IMDb, the world’s largest movie database. Their IMDb Movies & TV app is consistently among the most downloaded in the entertainment genre and now, IMDb Trivia has just been released on the App Store. Featuring several hundred questions in the Hollywood Hits, Family Movies, TV Favorites and Blockbuster Films categories, the app provides multiple game modes, including Movie Order, Celebrity Match and Movie Poster Match. Additional game packs are also available as IAPs for $0.99 should you wish to unlock even more trivia questions. Best of all, its free to download, so you can all compete with your friends via Game Center without spending a dime.

10 New App Store Games To Watch [Sep. 19 - 25]

The star of the week is Another World – 20th Anniversary, which ironically is a 20 year old game.  Still, it looks good, sounds good, and actually feels like a fresh take on gaming despite its age.  There were also a couple of intriguing shooters this time around.  BulletZone takes away your weapons to test how well you can dodge enemy fire.  EnbornX, on the other hand, has you fighting the same boss over and over again.  Unfortunately, each time you destroy it the thing gets stronger and stronger.  Finally, fans of The Sims can kick it old school with The Sims Medieval, which takes the popular franchise back to the days of knights and damsels in distress.  You can take on the role of a serf or a king, or even check out what it would have been like to be a vampire during those times.
